Want to look young and fresh, everyday? Here are twelve tips from my experience as a make-up artist to help you look your best. Try them out! Be fabulous!


To keep our skin looking fresh and supple moisturize twice daily (morning and evening).

Try teeth whitening

Over time, teeth may yellow from coffee, tea or red wine stains. You can whiten teeth quickly with over-the-counter products such as Crest White strips.


A simple grin can take years off your face. Smiling also makes us feel youthful. Think about all the women you admire.


Few things age you overnight more than a poor night’s sleep. Your eyes are puffy, your skin sallow and dull and your face sags.


Older skin usually means dry skin, so creamy blushes are the way to go. Powder blushes tend to settle into your fine lines and wrinkles, while creamier products “plump” up your skin.


A minimal approach is the most flattering. Try a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen. Use powder only in T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin area) if you have oily skin.

Avoid Heavy Clumpy Mascara

Wipe Mascara wand with a tissue before applying to give lashes a more natural look.

Curl Your Eyelashes

Curled lashes immediately make eyes “pop.” Do this before you put on your mascara. If you are going to curl your lashes after you applied mascara, make sure it has completely dried.


Use creamier lipsticks, avoiding matte lipstick as they tend to be dry and settle into your lip lines. If you don’t wear lipstick try a tinted lip balm or gloss.. A few shades darker than your natural lip color will brighten your complexion.


Once you hit your 30s, you’ll want to be careful not to overtweeze your eyebrows. Fill in sparse areas with eyebrow pencil or eye shadow

Drink water

Drinking 6-8 glasses a day is the recommended amount and will keep your skin hydrated.

Stand Tall

Stand up straight and confidently. Not only will this make you look five years younger ,it will make you look ten pounds thinner in seconds.

First, before starting the recipe, we start to question that always arises:

2. Find the right razor
There are so many options available today – from triple blades to lubricating strips and more. Experiment until you find the one that works best for you, and always make sure you’re changing the blade on a regular basis.
3. Go against the grain
Make sure you do it carefully, but shaving against the natural direction of hair growth will give you the closest shave possible. Once your skin is softened by the water from the shower, start at your ankles and slowly move up your legs.
4. Soy butter
Real Beauty suggests that a lotion with soy can help fight re-growth while hydrating your legs. How does it work? Several studies have shown that the ingredient is effective at stunting growth and shrinking the hair shaft’s diameter.
5.  Waxing
If you really really really don’t want to spend a lot of time with your razor this summer, consider an alternative hair removal method like waxing. Sure, the ouch factor is significantly higher, but you’ll have super smooth legs for 2 or 3 weeks after the procedure.

•معمول التمر
•مقادير عجينة معمول التمر:
•3كاسات سميد ناعم
•3 كاسات طحين
•ملعقة صغيرة محلب
•6 ملاعق كبار سكر
•ربع ملعقة صغيرة ملح
•المواد السائلة:
•2 كوب زبدة او سمنة
•نصف كوب زيت مازولا
•كوب حليب
•كيلو عجوة التمر معجونة بقليل من السمن والقرفة والسمسم

طريقة التحضير
1.نخلط المواد الجافة مع بعض ثم نذوب السمنة مع زيت المازولا
2.نضيف السمنة الى خليط المواد الجافة الى ان تتشبع العجينة بالسمن
3.نضيف الحليب تدريجيا ونخلط لتتشكل عجينة طرية ثم نتركها ترتاح ساعتين
4.ونبدأ بتشكيل الاقراص ونضعها بالفرن على درجة حرارة 180 الى ان يزهر لونها وتصبح جاهزة
5.توضع في وعاء حتى تبرد .

مقاديرالزلابية :
1 كوب من الطحين
ربع الى ثلث كوب من الماء الدافئ
ملعقة صغيرة خميرة
ملعقة كبيرة ونصف نشاء
ملعقة كبيرة ونصف زيت نباتي
2 ملعقة كبيرة لبن زبادي
3/4 ملعقة صغيرة مسحوق الزعفران
3/4 ملعقة كبيرة ماء دافئ لتذويب الخميرة
زيت للقلي

طريقة تحضير الزلابية :
1-نذوب الخميرة في الماء الدافئ ونتركها 5 دقائق
2-في اثناء ذلك نمزج الطحين والنشاء وبودرة الزعفران جيدا
3-نضيف الزيت النباتي والزبادي الى الطحين ونخلطهم جيدا ثم نضيف الخميرة ونخلط
4-نبدأ بإضافة الماء بالتدريج مع الاستمرار بالخلط
5-ستتكون لدينا عجينة نتركها مددة ساعة تتخمر مع تغطيتها
6-نحضر القطر او الشيرة في هذه الاثناء
7-نسخن الزيت على النار لنبدأ بالقلي
8-نضع العجينة في كيس الحلواني لنبدأ بصبها في الزيت ولكن هناك ملاحظة: ( اذا شعرنا بأن العجينة سميكة يمكن اضافة القليل من الماء وعجنها حتى تصبح بالقوام المطلوب أي لينة وليست سائلة واذا كانت العجينة سائلة يمكن اضافة بعض الطحين لتأخذ القوام اللين)
9-بعد ان سخن الزيت نبدأ بصب الزلابية في الزيت حتى تأخذ اللون الذهبي
10-ترفع الزلابية عن النار وتوض فورا في القطر المجهز مسبقا وتقدم

طريقة التحضير

الوقت الاجمالي: 1 ساعة 15 دقائق
عدد الأشخاص: 6 اشخاص
الكنافة العثملية بالمكسرات من الحلويات المشهورة جدا في بلاد الشام وهي تعتبر من الحلويات التي تقدم في كل المناسبات وتشتهر خصوصا في شهر رمضان ويعشقها الكبار والصغار ولا تخلو منها موائد رمضان خاصة حيث نقدم لكي سيدتي اليوم طريقة عملها بالمكسرات اللذيذة التي تعطيها طعما لا ينسى
•كيلو كنافة
•علبتين قشطة
•فنجان سكر2
•2 فنجان ماء
•مكسرات مطحونة

طريقة التحضير
1.قطعي الكنافة قطع صغيرة
2.وضعي الزبدة على نار هادئة و أتركيها حتى تسيح ثم نصبها فوق الكنافة حتى تتشرب
3.ضعي نصف مقدار الكنافة في صينه و اضغطي عليها جيداً وضعيها فى الفرن حتى تصبح ذهبية اللون فى هذه الأثناء حضري القشطة و ضعيها فى إناء وأضيفى إليها ملعقتين من الماء البارد ملعقة من المكسرات المفرومة جيداً(المكسرات حسب الذوق) تخلط جيدا ونخرج الكنافة من الفرن نضع عليها القشطة المجهزة
4.تأكدى من تغطيتها كاملاً بعيداً عن الحواف وباشري بوضع الطبقة الثانية من الكنافة وتأكدي أن الوجه مغطى كاملاً وجيداً بالكنافة
5.أعيديها مرة أخرى إلى الفرن حتى يصبح لونها ذهبي ثم أخرجي الكنافة من الفرن وبعد ذلك أضيفي إليها القطر
ملاحظة: يجب خلط المكسرات مع الكنافة قبل وضعها في الفرن ومن الممكن وضع نوع مكسرات واحد وهذا حسب الرغبة

6 All-Natural Homemade Face Mask Recipes

Yes, it’s true – fall is here and as we leave summer behind our skin most likely needs to recover from the harshness of the sun and heat!
Although we most likely had a sun-kissed look (or a reddish look that we weren’t necessarily going for) either way, now is the perfect time to treat your skin right with some easy, yet very effective recipes to soften, moisturize and tone the face and body.
So on your next trip to the market or local health food store – be sure to add these essentials to your list:
  • Lemon Juice
  • Lime Juice
  • Milk
  • Honey
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Green Seedless Grapes
  • Baking Soda
  • Yogurt
  • Ripe Papaya
  • Ylang Ylang Oil
  • Patchouli Oil
  • Aloe Vera Gel
1. Moisturizing Mask
Let’s start first with a glowing moisturizer for the face – prepare 1 cup of lime juice and 1/2 cup boiled milk. Mix in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.  Mix well. Then apply to entire face with a cotton ball of cotton pad. This mixture is left on your face, as your moisturizer.
2. Soft Skin Mask
For soft skin (this is my favorite) take lemon juice and a few drops of ylang ylang oil. Mix together or fill up a plastic bottle and shake the mixture (this way helps make the mixture easy to use and will last a bit longer.) Apply all over face, neck and body for a soft feel and a nice smell too. Remember to rub into your hands.
Tip: Ylang ylang oil is helpful with PMS symptoms and is known to help with acne. Moms- pass this one on to your teenage daughters.
3. Exfoliating Scrub
For a great body exfoliater to rid your skin of dryness from the harsh sun and heat. Mix together equal parts of aloe vera gel and baking soda. Exfoliate in the shower to get your entire body.
4. Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
You’re wondering why you purchased a ripe papaya? Ripe papaya slices applied to your face for 15 minutes will help with wrinkles. If papaya is hard to find; apply green seedless grapes (halved) for 2 minutes, then wipe off.
5. Skin Refresher
Try this facial paste to soften and neutralize the skin: one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of salt and 2 drops of patchouli oil. Mix well and apply to your face and exfoliate for 2 minutes- then leave the paste on for an extra 2 more minutes and rinse off.
6. Hydrating Mask
For hydration and to tighten: chop that cucumber finely and add a half cup of yogurt. Mix well and leave on for 15 minutes. Also, apply the mixture to your neck and chest while your at it! Then rinse off.

The big game is this weekend, and no matter whether you’re rooting for the Broncos or the Panthers, I think it’s safe to agree we’re all on Team Super Bowl Snacks.
From chips and dips to wings, there’s no shortage of greasy, cheesy, tasty treats that go hand in hand with all things football. But my personal favorite is the slider, also known as the fun-size sandwich or the mini mouth delight (ok, I just made that last one up).
The wonder that is a slider has all the best parts of a sandwich (condiments and toppings) without an overwhelming amount of bread and meat. It’s simply brilliant.

Buffalo Egg Salad Sliders

Here’s a great twist on traditional hamburger sliders that won’t leave you feeling sluggish!
These Buffalo Egg Salad Sliders are just 160 calories a piece and packed
with protein to keep you feeling satisfied – yum!
Ingredients (makes 4 servings)
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped (We use Eggland’s
    Best because they contain 25 percent less
    saturated fat than ordinary brands)
  • 1 tablespoon of light mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of
    non-fat Greek yogurt
  • fresh chopped celery (we like to use LOTS)
  • 2 teaspoons buffalo sauce (or to taste) (like Frank’s Red
    Hot Sauce)
  • salt (pinch)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • pinch of paprika.
  • 4 mini hamburger buns (or dinner rolls, halved)
  • 2 curly lettuce leaves
Combine eggs, mayonnaise, yogurt, salt, pepper and mix
well.  Stir in celery, set aside.  Place a small piece of lettuce on each bun
bottom and then top with egg salad, dividing it equally between the 8 buns.
Sprinkle with paprika and top with other half of bun.
Nutrition Facts: Per Serving:  160 calories, 7 g fat, 16 g carbohydrate, 10
g protein, 341 mg sodium, 3 g sugar, 1 g fiber

Burgers can often leave you feeling heavy and full… so try this healthier option for your next party: Roasted Red Pepper Chicken Sliders!
This light, healthy and flavorful recipe is just as satisfying as a juicy burger AND doubles as either an appetizer or an entrée!  Tammy’s daughters love them (no easy feat!) and all of their friends do too.
Roasted Red Pepper Chicken Sliders
Ingredients (makes 4 sliders)
  • 1/4 whole-wheat baguette
  • 4, 3- ounce chicken breasts
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 3 Tbsp balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1/4 cup basil
  • 4 Tbsp fat free feta cheese
Grill chicken breast on each side for 7 minutes or until grill marks appear.
In the meantime, thoroughly wash the red pepper and then slice it into 4 large pieces. Slice the whole-wheat baguette into ¼ inch slices.
Once the chicken is close to being fully cooked, place the red peppers and baguettes on the grill. Allow each side to cook for about 2 minutes or until grill marks appear on each side.
After the chicken, peppers, and baguettes are finished grilling, take them off the grill and allow them to cool for about 10 minutes.
Place a piece of chicken and a red pepper slice on top of the baguette. Next, place 1 Tbsp of feta cheese on top of the red pepper.
Lastly, garnish the slider with 1 Tbsp of chopped basil and drizzle 1 Tbsp of balsamic on top.

The best part of any slow-cooker recipe is that you can basically throw everything in a pot and walk away – perfect for busy moms who have errands to run and (gasp) maybe even want to take a shower.
These pulled pork sliders are great served as appetizers or party snacks – they’re sure to be gobbled right up! Just make sure you start ahead of time, as they’re meant to ideally cook for 8 or so hours. 

  • 6 lb bone-in pork should roast, trimmed
  • 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 18 oz bottle barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 (12-count) packages slider buns
  • 16 oz jar bread and butter pickles
1. Sprinkle roast with
salt and pepper.
2. Combine roast, barbecue
sauce, broth and vinegar in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker.
3. Cover and cook on Low
8 hours or until roast is very tender.
4. Remove pork to a
cutting board; shred with 2 forks.
5. Return pork to slow
cooker, and discard bones.
6. Toss pork to coat with
sauce; serve on slider buns with pickles.

Who doesn’t love sliders?
Made with blue cheese crumbles and crispy fried onions, these little Buffalo chicken sandwiches are sure to be a hit!
  • 3 round rolls , small, soft, & sliced in half lengthwise
  • 3 tsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp blue cheese crumbles
  • 3 tbsp shredded lettuce
  • 6 slices Blazing Buffalo® Style Roasted Chicken Breast , sliced thin
  • 3 tbsp crispy fried onions
1. Place opened rolls onto a work surface.
2. Spread the mayonnaise on the top and bottom half of each roll.
3. Top the bottom of each roll with cheese, lettuce, Blazing Buffalo Chicken, and onions.
4.Crown with the top of each roll.
